In the frame of the exhibition UNTER PALMEN EIN U-BOOT – Kunst reflektiert transnationale Perspektiven, neue Beziehungen und die Geister eines Ortes DIE KOMPANIE presents:
This event is about questioning the own acceptance of and obedience to social norms in public spaces. Public space as a process of negotiation of possible relations between its physical components –bodies, architecture, weather and objects – and its intangible components – time, history, norms, representations, imagination and emotions – is always political. It is the unimplemented possible relations, the ones sorted out in this process of negotiation, the imagined spaces within a social space, that we want to explore as acts of everyday disobedience.
The event will partly take place outside and is open to everybody (>12 years), no previous experience needed.
