DACHIL SADO was born in Shingal-Mosul, Iraq, lives and works since 2015 in Berlin, Germany. In 2016 Sado attended lectures for Civil Engineering at TU Berlin. In 2017 he had a Fellowship at Bard College Berlin, followed by studies of Fine Art at Kunsthochschule Weißensee. Since 2015, he is co-founder and board member of the participatory art project KUNSTASYL e.V. and Tutor at *foundationClass of Kunsthochschule Weißensee.
Dachil Sado was one of the residency artists at B.L.O. Ateliers in 2017.
Sado’s research revolves around the reduction of the body, identity, migration and art history in relation to sociological perception.
