Shireen Abu Akleh was a Palestinian-American journalist. She worked for 25 years
as a reporter for the Arabic-language channel Al Jazeera before she was shot dead on May 11, 2022.
While covering an Israeli army operation in Jenin in the West Bank.
Palestinians and Israelis initially blamed each other for her death.
Independent investigations of publicly available information revealed that Abu Akleh was shot by
