“MOMENTOGRAPHY OF A FAILURE” with Nafiseh Fathollahzadeh and Parham Mortazavian
Nafiseh Fathollahzadeh und Parham Mortazavian gave a historical and theoretical background on history of urban planning and changing socio-spatial environment in Marzahn-Lichtenberg and Hellersdorf. A special focus was on the socialist concept of co-living since 70’s, as well as how the “Lösung der Wohnungsfrage als soziales Problem” has transformed the district in recent years.
The participants explored parts of Hellersdorf and Marzahn in two field trips, visiting urban landmarks such as Skywalk Marzahn and Museumswohnung. The group was accompanied by the local experts Barbara and Thomas who gave a great inside view.
Throughout the walks participants were asked to take photographies documenting their impressions of these urban landscapes. The tours were followed by discussions at B.L.O. Ateliers.
The results of all photographies where finally shared in the Momentography of a Failure App.
“MOMENTOGRAPHY OF A FAILURE” is a collaborative photography project funded by Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, ECCE and IKF.
